Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose displays ripe blackcurrant aromas which intermingle with some black olive and a faint whiff of liquorice followed by some cedary tobacco like characters and spice. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours over some cedary tobacco, light cigar box and spice. Solid, slightly dryish tannins provide good structural support. Long ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedary cigar box and spice aftertaste.
